Dust jacket has been clipped on four corners but not price-clipped, a large two by two inch chip to top of back flap, half inch chip at bottom of spine, heavy sunfade to spine so title is unreadable, some black smudges to back of cover. front is still bright and attractive and the jacket is now protected in an archival cover. Orange, brown, grey, white dust jacket is a professional reproduction that has a chip at head of frt panel, color loss at upper tips but displays well in new mylar. Tomahawk's mother, Old White Face, was a wild horse, captured by Jim Arnold, rancher, when Tomahawk was a young colt. Eventually, they let her go, but Tomahawk stayed, because of his pal, young Joe Arnold. Tomahawk's happy life with Joe ended when he was stolen by horse rustlers. Then followed an exciting period when Tomahawk evading the rustlers, lived a perilous life in the wild country of the old west including getting caught in a horse trap and being rescued by Joe Arnold.
