"Toyo no Himitsu', or Secrets of the Orient', was a 1928 German-French silent film directed by Alexandre Volkoff and starring Marcella Albani, Nikolas Kolin, Iván Petrovich and Dimitri Dimitriev. Volkoff, whose films were highly regarded in Japan, was a Russian film director who was exiled to Fr…ance by the Imperial Russian government. Colour printed, possibly by silk-screen. Chipping to extremities, one or two small stains, pin holes to lower corners. Creases, tear to upper right joint of paper and hanger and two tears to left side at creases. Some tape repairs to recto. Very good. 1 leaf, complete. 60 x 45 cm. Text in Japanese.
