First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Inscribed, "For Vince and Robin" and signed by the author. A scarce early issue that is NOT an ex-library copy. Presumably the first edition/printing although no indication on the copyright page. Dated 1955, with publisher's $2.95 price on the jacket flap. Very Good in a Very Good Minus dust jacket. Yellow cloth boards in nice shape, clean and with sharp corners. Production process wrinkle on front pastedown. Unmarked but for author's inscription/signature. The dust jacket with a yellow front panel has some chipping - primarily at spine-ends, plus a few very short edge-tears (longest tear being one-half-inch). Publisher's price intact on jacket front flap. Signed by Author(s).
