Signed by the author on the title page, and dated 1/15/2003. A collection of essays on travel, family life, and politics. Stevenson was an Associate Editor for Harper's. This copy is not a remainder, not a library copy. No writing on the text besides that signature. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has areas of sun fading to the back panel, about 1" vertical block on the left side, 2" horizontal block on the top edge and 1" vertical block on the right side. The binding is tight and square, just a couple of dots of age foxing on the edges of the text block. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo.
