All titling sharp and bright, top edge dyed red, illustrated map endpapers spotless, as is rest of interior. Illustrations at head of each chapter of different fur-bearing animals, b/w photo frontispiece and additional plates inside. Dedication page to the memory of R.L. Vanderbeck. Presumed First Edition First Printing as no other dates on copyright page other than 1936. Alas without the striking Dust Jacket.

Fountain ink message dated 1939 to the front free end paper. Very Good condition book in Very Good condition price clipped dust wrapper with 5 mm deep tear across the top half of the spine, slight tanning of the white paper to the spine, 10 mm tear to the top front cover, shallow rubs to the corners.
