Dailey, also known as Eleric Jack Dailey (1889- 1973), was a renowned American fur trapper and writer from the Adirondack Mountains of New York, most recognized for his extensive knowledge of the wilderness and his detailed accounts of life as a trapper in remote, rugged areas, often contributing to publications like "Fur, Fish and Game" magazine; he is considered by many as one of the last true "Adirondack trappers.".
