In-8° (28x17 cm), pp. (48), brossura editoriale carta da zucchero incamiciata con titoli in nero al dorso e al piatto anteriore. Ottimo e fresco esemplare con dedica autografa dell' autore alla carta bianca anteriore. Edizione fuori commercio (140 esemplari non numerati), pubblicata per celebrare il centocinquantesimo anniversario dell'inaugurazione della prima ferrovia in Italia, di questo curioso saggio autobiografico d'occasione che l'autore diede già in parte alle stampe nel 1960 per la laurea del figlio. Una copia venne inviata anche ad Alberto Tallone anch'esso appassionato di antichi treni e storia delle ferrovie e, a distanza di 30 anni, gli eredi Tallone e Francesco Gabrieli celebrano l'avvenimento con questa pubblicazione. Italiano.
