His first novel, The Mamur Zapt and the Return of the Carpet (1988) was the start of the "Mamur Zapt" series of mysteries. The Fleischman novel is a paperback original. The Leonard novel is the first paperback edition - it was originally published in hard covers by Doubleday in 1951. This edition has been revised. Reading creasing and edge rubbing to the spine. There is some surface and edge creasing to the covers and a cross has been scratched on the woman in the Leonard cover illustration. Browning to the page edges with several small edge tears, some corner creasing and some corner chipping. The pages are browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. The cover illustration for the Leonard novel is by Victor Olson. First printing. Signed by Author(s).
