    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Bound in full green leather with gilt decoration on spine and a linear design on front and back boards. Collation: Fold out Gregorian calendar in columns with woodcut vignettes and engraved title at front and rear of book; title page, [48pp] Illustrated with 12 fine copper engravings, complete. All edges are gilt. The leather is lightly worn, worn at edges of binding, spine rubbed. A small ink inscription in French on last blank page. The pages inside have some light spotting, generally a very good copy. Size 95 x 60mm (3.75 x 2.25 inches) Jubert, bookbinder and gilder, was a path-breaking almanac publisher. His son-in-law, Pierre-Etienne Janet, took over the business in 1790 and continued in his father-in-law s business, producing almanacs illustrated with 12 fine copper engravings with a calendar etc. .
