All edges are gilt. The leather is lightly worn, worn at edges of binding, spine rubbed. A small ink inscription in French on last blank page. His son-in-law, Pierre-Etienne Janet, took over the business in 1790 and continued in his father-in-law s business, producing almanacs illustrated with 12 fine copper engravings with a calendar etc. .
