Spine with five raised bands, boards both with a lovely tree calf patina, gilt lattice work decoration to the board edges and gilt decoration to the outer board edges and inner gilt dentelles. Black and white illustrations and Maps, gelty tanned pages. Starting to crack to the top of the front joint but still intact. Gilt page edges. Title page is bright and clear, and has a frontispiece opposite. Text is bright and clear, gentle tanning throughout with some minor foxing. A very nice copy. See photos. Condition Report Externally Spine - very good condition - worn with minor marks and scratches.
