Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

(viii), 318pp, illustrated with 6 black & white plates by Alan Wright, frontispiece has tissue guard, occasional light spotting to pages, spine starting to crack at p1 and pp304/5 but binding feels firm, dark brown endpapers, ink signature of previous owner to reverse of front free endpaper, dated Christmas 1909, red cloth, gilt lettering and black illustration to both spine and upper board, spine sunned. Size: 7.5 x 5.25 Inches. Children's Fiction.
