Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Stated First Edition; the True First Edition, preceding the softcover edition (the first McGee novel to be published first in hardcover); first printing with the "1073" code to the front flap. A Near Fine book in a Good or better dust jacket. SIGNED, dated, and inscribed by the author to the front free paper. An outstanding copy of this Travis McGee novel, the 15th in the series, and may be the hardest to find in collectible condition; rare indeed signed. This copy is in near fine condition with mild rubbing to the edges and faint soiling to the text block; housed in a crisp and bright Good or better dust jacket that shows an area to the lower front panel with tape repair to the verso, rubbing and chipping to the edges and corners, with one larger chip to the top front corner. The front flap is price clipped, as are most of the jackets in the first printing, most likely due to the publisher covering up a price increase. From the collection of Harry Reeser, a long time friend and business associate of MacDonald's; this copy inscribed to Reeser. Not remaindered, not ex-library; will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box. Signed by Author(s).
