Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A lovely copy of this memoir illustrated with color reproductions of this artist's works. Blue cloth with a watercolor illustration inlaid on the front cover. Inscribed and signed by Rob and Mary. I am a watercolour landscape artist based in the small village of Winksley on the edge of the Nidderdale AONB area of the Yorkshire Dales. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful county and I am inspired daily by the local scenery and woodlands where I cycle and walk the dog. I have always loved the outdoors and we regularly visit Scotland in our campervan; so you will see plenty of Scottish landscapes in my work too. Watercolour is such a great medium for accentuating atmosphere and my work usually includes a strong element of spatial perspective. I have recently been trying to develop my 'brushwork caligraphy' and I hope that will make my work both more interesting and individual. Inscribed by Author(s). Book.
