Vol 1: History of the West Indies comprising: Jamaica,… Honduras, Trinidad, Tobago, Grenade, The Bahamas and the Virgin Isles. b/w frontis, tables + fold out map. Vol 11 = History of the West Indies comprising: British Guiana, Barbadoes, St Vincents, St Lucia, Dominica, Montserrat, Antiqua, St Christophers etc etc. b/w frontis, tables + fold out map. Both volumes have a period label on front paste down which reads: This volume forms part of the Tottenham Library which was purchased by general subscription as a Testimonial to the memory of the late Rev. Edward Tottenham BD to be held in perpetual trust for the public benefit of the City of Bath. December 1853. Above this is the signature of Edward Tottenham in black ink dated 1845. Condition both volumes have white library written numbers of spine + at bottom period library label. Top and bottom of spine slight tears. Wear on cover corners. General age discolouration on spine seams and edges. o/p library info in period blue ink + pencil. Following o/p period Tottenham Collection label. No further library marks or labels. Outer edge of pages collectively age discoloured. Internally clean, little wear, binding firm, good colour. GC. Unknown (illustrator). Signed by Author(s).
