Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Wraps. pp 58. Foolscap printed recto only. Metal stapled top inside corner. Typescript style. Last page summarises Don Macpherson's screenwriting and TV career inc 'Absolute Beginners' up to 1988. The novel (where 'R and R' is short for Rest and Recreation) is set over 36 hours and… seems to have different versions of the truth as seen by different characters and hallucinatory episodes- 'blackly comic'. It was planned to be 25 chapters. It is noted on the front page that Macpherson's agent was Sue Rodgers / Duncan Heath Associates, Wardour Street, London W1. No copies noted anywhere, presumably never published, possibly never finished. Very good.
