A collection of 100's of facsimiles of important historic manuscripts, with text on adjoining pages in modern English type, from Henry V, 1419, to Queen Victoria, 1885. Volume 1, in blue cloth, states "Autograph Edition Deluxe #220" and is SIGNED by the Editorial Director, whose name I can't make out. It is worn at spine and corners, with the front endpages loose and tattered along the edges. Interior os good. Volume 2 is in flexible red cloth and is a bit rubbed but is otherwise good. Very heavy set so postage may be extra. Size: Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall.
