Condition: sehr guter Zustand. Öl, auf Papier, links unten ritzsigniert Ernestine von Lipowsky, geborene von Eder", rechts unten bezeichnet Untersberg". 13,7:19,6 cm. Nagellöchlein in den unteren Ecken. Minimaler Einriß links unten. Frische und dynamische, sicher vor Ort entstandene Landschaftsstudie, die eine intensive Beschäftigung mit der Münchner Freilichtmalerei erkennen läßt. Die Tochter des Münchner Landrichters Eder heiratete nach 1854 Felix Friedrich Freiherr von Lipowsky (1824-1900), Jurist, Ministerialrat und Regierungspräsident von Niederbayern. Gemäß der Vita ihres Mannes zog sie anschließend nach Moosburg. 1862 wurde ihr Mann nach München berufen, 1871 nach Landshut. Von hier sind jährliche Sommeraufenthalte meist in München und Tirol zu belegen. Nach 1895 kehrte die Familie nach München zurück.
