Hardcover. Condition: Very Good in Good dust jacket. 30 x 21.5 cm. Unpaginated ~ 80ppBlue boards in dust jacket. Some rubbing to edges of boards. Jacket shows some soiling and edgewear. Hawaii, Japan, crew roster. Many black and white photographs. Laid in is a certificate "Sacred Order of the Golden Dragon" presented to John. S. Bakos FA USN on board the USS Eldorado April 25 1955. The certificate is presented when one crosses the International Date Line. USS Eldorado was launched October 26 1943 and took part in WWII, the Korean war, and the Vietnam war. A US Navy Cruise Book. Cruise books are unofficial publications published by a ship's crew to document a cruise or deployment and typically have low print runs.
