Condition: Very good. - Octavo, softcover bound in printed blue wraps. The wraps are lightly bumped with some small stains to the top edge of the front wrap. There are small stains to the wraps around the staples. Pages [455]-474. The top page corners are lightly bumped. Very good. Inscribed by the author on the front wrap: "To a fellow student of a fascinating subject / Charles H. George".Laid in is an autograph letter signed in full by the author and penned on University of Pittsburgh Department of History letterhead. George writes to a Mr. Bromberg: "I very much look forward to seeing the results of your years of labor on the subject of usury. Will you go outside Western Civilization for a comparative view?"Scarce.
