Hardcover. Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. 1st Edition, Limited Edition. "Vahan Teryan's Unknown Initiative. Memories Of The Armenian Orphans" "????? ??????? ?????? ????????????????. ??? ?????? ???????" / "Vahan Teryani Anhayt Naxadzernutyuny: Hay Vorberi Hushery") Gevorg Emin-Teryan "Vahan Teryan's unknown initiative. The Memoirs of the Armenian Orphans ". The great poet, known not only for his literary works but also for his active public and political activity, In December 2009, she visited the orphanage on Yerevan and Farskaya Street to instruct her to write essays describing the Armenian Genocide. The children, who were the direct bearers of the Armenian Genocide, detail scenes of the massacre and the way of migration in their manuscripts. These essays, which are unique documents and contain very important historical material, have a profound impact on Teryan's later life and work. According to the grandson, the works written by 1915 were quite different from previous works, which was a major breakthrough in Teryan's work. In addition, it was these events that caused the tuberculosis. Emin-Teryan says: "In one of the stories, the child remembers catching a frog with friends, tearing his hands and feet, and then eating a frog for that frog. Describing the murders and the days of the orphans as an orphaned child, the reason for all this was to do so with the frog, the only bad deed of his life. " According to the author, the book is a bit like Anna Frank's diary, but there is a big difference: the Jewish girl is a Holocaust survivor, but she has not seen the real genocide in her eyes; with eyes. The presentation was also attended by the grandson of one of the orphans, Carmile Manukyan. He notes: "My grandmother did not tell her much about those years in her memoirs, and I learned from the book how her mother was killed in front of her eyes. They escaped with two sisters and found themselves in an orphanage in Yerevan, and one of the brothers was drafted into the Turkish army, and our fate is unknown. Now I'm trying to find out about it. " He says he only has photos where the orphans are on Farskaya Street, then another photo taken years later in the same place. Literary critic Arkemnik Nikoghosyan notes: "I'm still amazed at how Gevorg managed to write such an extensive work in just one year. He could, of course, print the manuscripts to complete the page and thus finish the job, but he did such a brilliant job.
