An organisation The Valiant Air Command, was started only in 1977 by a very dedicated group of private individuals - with just two warbirds! Since that time, it has grown from its original twelve members to an international membership with over three hundred and fifty… historic military aircraft. Based at Titusville, Florida - just across the Indian river from Cape Canaveral - the VAC is recognised as an educational 'Flying Museum' and has an earnest belief that the true history of its warbirds can only be expressed when the aircraft are flown for all to see and admire. This happens at least annually and the Spring three-day display is the one that brings the hordes! This 1990 first edition colour illustrated copy is sold in FINE condition between FINE illustrated card covers.
