Oblong 8vo, engraved title-page + 70 plates. Contemporary half morocco, marbled boards, morocco label to front board. Strip torn from top edge of title-page and sometime restored, some spotting, mostly to margins. Rubbing to extremities, a little wear to edges. Bookplate to pastedown. A attractive set of engraved views of Rome,…most by Achille Parboni (1783-1841), although a handful (all in the same style) are signed P. Parboni or F. Rinaldi. Versions of this collection were issued in a variety of ways with a differing number of images, but this is an early example, with a total of 70 plates, none dated later than 1824.

Kongress der internationalen Handelskammer im Mai 1957 überreic…ht. Gedruckt auf Bütten der Papierfabrik Pietro Miliano in Fabriano. Die Stiche wurden zum Teil in Rom vom Cheftechniker Michele Gnocchi und vom Kunsthandwerker Baldassarre Barovecchio der "Calcagrafia Nazionale" und zum Teil in Neapel, im "Reparto Calcagrafico dell'Arte Tipografia" abgezogen. Die Kupferstichhe sind unten rechts vom Künstler handschriftlich signiert. Mit beiliegendem Trext in Deutsch, Spanisch, Französisch und Englisch. Ich versende mit der Deutschen Post (Büchersendung) und der DHL (Pakete). Die Lieferzeit ist abhängig von der Versandart und beträgt innerhalb Deutschlands 3-5 Tage, in der EU 5 - 14 Tage.
