    Condition: Good. Limited large paper edition (hardback). 4to (28cm by 23cm), viii, 305pp. 55 colour plates by Rene Binet, each protected by a tissue guard. Original full white vellum, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, top edge gilt. There is some bowling and light spotting of the boards, light browning of the endpapers, and the rear inner hinge has cracked (and has been repaired). Overall, this book is in good condition. Limited to 100 copies, of which this is copy number 19, signed by the illustrator on the limitation page.

The illustrations and plates depict views, plans, ground layouts, and architectural renderings executed in various techniques. These include etchings by Charles Théodore Deblois and Henri Toussaint, wood engravings by the Bauchart brothers, Boulenaz, Ernest-Pierre Deloche, E. Dewailly, V. Dutertre, J. J. Puyplat, and R. Romagnol, a watercolor by Albert Charpentier; heliochromes from the Lemercier printing press (Paris), heliographs by Chauvet, Dujardin, and Lemercier, photogravures by Reymond and Rougeron, chromotypography by Reymond, printing of the etchings and heliographs by G.     Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Number 51 of the limited edition of 100 copies signed by the illustrator, large paper in full vellum, complete with 51 mounded plates. Covers with light staining to a few places, with light staining to margins of the first few pages, some of the mount to the first plate is lacking. Covers slighty sprung at extremities. The rest of the contents in fine. Clean and unmarked with no marks or inscriptions. Overall a very good example of a scarce edition, with the impressive plates in fine condition. Alle Radierungen im unteren rechten Rand von E. Sadoux (1841-1906) signiert. - Der prachtvolle Einband mit gekröntem Wappen-Supralibros im unteren Rand etwas berieben, Besitzvermerk auf dem Vorsatz, sehr schönes dekorativ gebundenes Exemplar.
