Il a exposé ses uvres dans divers pays d'Europe et aux Etats-Unis et a réalisé plus de 80 décors de théâtre à Genève et Paris. Il a notamment travaillé avec François Simon, Herbert Graf, Rolf Liebermann, Jeannine Charrat, Serge Golovine, Rosella Hightower, Sylvia Montfort. En 1976, il fait uvre de pionnier en exécutant des peintures-portrait sur la peau de ses modèles, en particulier sur Miralda Rochat. Un premier livre est sorti: "Miralda ou peintures sur un visage" suivi de "A Fleur de Peau", puis "Métamorphoses". Ce travail fera le tour de la planète et ouvrira une voie à de nombreux artistes. Ayant établi des liens avec l'Afrique, il commence à acquérir des pièces dès l'âge de 20 ans, sans cesser depuis lors. Il porte un intérêt particulier à la signification des uvres qu'il recherche et réunit ainsi une collection de plus de 900 pièces de grande diversité, couvrant l'ensemble des courants stylistiques africains. En 1984, la France le nomme Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Publié par Bernard Letu en 1978 , broché avec une couverture souple en bon état, format 27x21 cm , 67 pages.
