Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Book size roughly 5 by 8 inches with some 24 pages. Bound in illustrated wraps. Illustrated with numerous photos and graphs. Peters Cartridge Company were the pioneers in photographing bullets and shotgun shell loads at the instant of firing through a method they called 'Spark Photography'. The original announcement appearing in a 1928 book this is a 1933 early continuation of the work. Front cover image is of a gun barrel at the left, exhaust gases at the center, shotgun shell load at the right (X-out at the top by a former owner). A very scarce book. Front cover with ink-out marks at upper right--spine rubbed--small tear at rear cover bottom--other light wear. VERY GOOD.
