Elizabeth Sharp s…aid 'The life of William Sharp divides itself naturally into two halves, the first ends with the publication by William Sharp of "Vistas", and the second begins with "Pharais", the first book signed by Fiona MacLeod'. "Vistas" is a series of dramatic sketches written under the influence of Sharp's friends in the Symbolist movement, Maeterlinck in particular being a strong influence. Spine and outer hinges very rubbed and creased, one and a half centimetre piece missing from the top of the spine, extremities rubbed.
