This book is an assembly of 14th-century fragments of Dante's "La Vita Nuova," a seminal work in Italian literature that celebrates the life and love of Beatrice Portinari. Thought to have been written in the late 1290s, it is divided into 42 chapters, or prose sections interspersed with 31 poems, sonnets, or canzoni that chronicle Dante's spiritual journey from his first meeting with Beatrice to her death. Gebundene Ausgabe. Condition: Sehr gut.
