Since police officers' careers are generally ruined if they speak up about their treatment on the force (as detailed in this book), author Fletcher allows the women to tell their stories of harassment anonymously. The final 34 pp. of this book consists of lengthy paragraphs, arranged alphabetically, summarizing the police careers of the 105 police women listed as "Contributing Officers." On page 278 is the paragraph describing Officer Virginia Hill, Missing Persons Unit, Philadelphia Police Department. Clarence Collins, to whom Officer Hill inscribes here, was the founder of the rock & roll / R&B vocal group "Little Anthony & the Imperials." This book was obtained with other books and memorabilia including signed photos belonging to Mr. Collins in 2016 in Southern Nevada, where he made his home. 298 pp. Reduced from $50.
