I gathered these as research for my own book, "Voodoo: Strange and Fascinating Tales and Lore", later republished as "Voodoo: Exotic Tales from Jungle to Bayou". Voodoo is an interesting and very misunderstood religion. Real voodoo is far more interesting than the… Hollywood version. It's a blending of African religions, Caribbean versions, and Christianity.
