Gray [1899-1984] was an English professor at the University of Minnesota. He joined the staff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Dispatch in 1920 and later became literary editor with the Chicago Daily News. While in Chicago he also taught creative writing and English at the University of Chicago. In 1948 he returned to the University of Minnesota and proceeded to write several looks about the university and Minnesota. In 1964 the University of Minnesota awarded Gray its Outstanding Achievement Award. I believe this is his only novel and is uncommon in nice condition and signed by the author. Signed.
