With original unclipped (priced to sticker) jacket (£3.95). Illustrated by the author. Originally published by Hamish Hamilton in 1957, this is the scarce re-issued edition published by Methuen. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, the odd small mark, minor fading to spine, a couple of very small (approx. 3mms) tears, the odd small crease/rub to edges, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and a little pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny loss in one place). Boards are near fine with a hint of pushing/bumping to corners and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a little tanned. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Book has a slight lean and minor marking to top and bottom of boards and spotting to block edge. Protected price-clipped dust jacket is marked and stained to front and has ight edge-wear. Nevertheless, presents well - the first and scare Bill Badger Book - overall in fair condition.

First edition, 121pp, numerous illustrations (some in colour) both throughout the text and full page, yellow cloth boards with blue titles and decoration to the front and spine, illustrated dustwrapper. The book is in near fine condition. The dustwrapper is price clipped and is in very good condition, with little edge wear, a couple of minor marks to the back panel, and it seems that a previous owner has scribbled on a piece of paper on top of the book, leaving minor indentations to the front panel. Overall, a very nice example of a rare B.B. first edition.
