Considered to be America's first stand-up comedian, Charles Farrar Brown's creation Artemus Ward, a barely literatre circus manage loosely based off P.T. Barnum, was hugely popular in both America and England, considered to the favourite author of Abraham Lincoln. In this particular work, Ward takes us to California, Salt Lake City, and Richmond.
