1st Edition, 1st Impression. 12.5 x 18.9cm maroon cloth with gilt stamped titles to the spine, map endpapers, 351pp (1); together with original unclipped dust jacket with 10/6 price. A little light pushing to the spine tips and a hint of rubbing at the foot. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and just a hint of spotting to the very edge of the text block. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) is very good with a little fading to the spine. The rear panel is a little dust stained and the spine faded. There is a little rubbing to the spine tips, edges and fore edge corners of the front panel with associated creasing and rubbing. All in all a very nice copy of this the fourth of Graham's Poldark novels.
