Hardcover. Condition: Good Plus. 1st Edition. First edition, first printing. Hardback, bound in the original blue cloth with gilt titling to spine. 19 × 12.5cm, 303pp. "The Warrior's Path" by Don Ryan (1937), is a "native captivity" novel that follows a young boy who is kidnapped by a hostile Native American tribe. Rather than being a simple tale of escape, the story focuses on his life being raised among the tribe, his assimilation into their culture, and his eventual transformation into a warrior of that nation. The novel is somewhat of a literary curiosity; although Don Ryan was an American author, this specific book was published in London by Duckworth & Co and, for unknown reasons, never saw a release in the United States. Condition: This copy is in good condition. The spine is faded and there is some light bumping to the boards.
