We have three jacketless ex-college-library copies, each in Navy blue cloth boards with gold gilt titles to spine, each marked "First published 1945" (no later printings mentioned), one from the Sheffield University Library (in sightly better shape), one from the University of Bristol, one from the College of Aeronautics, Cranfield, each overstamped "Withdrawn." All contain Date Due slips, though none shows edge stampings. Totals 275 pp. including Glossary and Index. Price is for a single copy. Reduced from $325.

States "First published 1945" with no later dates or printings mentioned -- the first printing. "Catalogue No. 289/4." 1950 reprints are somewhat more common -- this 1945 first edition is not. 275 pp. including Index. Reduced from $900.
