First edition limited to 100 numbered copies, this 72mm "Virginia Woolf" silver plated copper medal designed by Querolle is certainly the most beautiful of all the sculpted images of Woolf ever produced. About 200 grams, issued in a numbered edition of only 100 copies signed by the engraver & designer, Querolle. Individually number stamped on the rim. In an elegant custom made VW purple presentation book style medal case with gilt titling at the spine, black suede interior with satin ribbon. Madeleine-Pierre QUEROLLE, born in 1914, painter, sculptor and medallist, pupil of JANDON & LAFAYE. An exquisite item to be sure. Signed by illustrator Madeleine-Pierre QUEROLLE,
