Cleator on front endaper to retired Corporal Jim ___. With salutations from the author. P.E. Cleator. The Corporal then added a gift inscription of his own. Book is tight and clean. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Black cloth stamped on spine. Panels, endpapers and pages are all bright and clean with the exception of light soiling/foxing along top page edges. One corner gently pushed. Original DJ with 42/- net price intact on flap. DJ front shows minor edge-rubbing, one small closed edgetear and a chip at cornertip. DJ rear has a small closed tear/wrinkle with small chip on rear fold. Minor shelf-rubbing to edges. All flaws noted. A well-illustrated guide with insight on available weapons for combatants from the caveman, through the Dark Ages, to guerrilla warfare to modern technology.
