"Page after page is as alluring as a well-tied fly, yet there is no lack of very useful information and hints on tackle and boats, flies and baits; scale reading; measuring, packing and cooking fish; fisherman's birds, flowers, weeds and inns. A valuable book of reference." (The Scotsman). The standard edition of this book had two-tone cloth (green spine / blue boards) with white spine label.
