Features two songs for voice and piano: "The Irish Rapparees: Specially Arranged for the Weekly Freeman" with words by Sir Charles Gavan Duffy and music by G.L. Murray, and "The Standard of Ireland (Ardharc Na Eire)" with no credits printed. The section also includes stories and poems including, "Dan's Dilemma" by Victor O'D.
