Hardcover--cloth. Condition: Very Good/Good+. First Edition. Octavo, 8 1/2" tall, 282 pages, map end papers, beige cloth. A very good, clean, hardcover first edition with light shelf wear, slight discoloration to cloth color at the margins; hinges and binding tight, paper cream white with slight yellowing to fore-edges, top edge lightly soiled. In a good, clean dust jacket with small chips at the folds, slight fading along the backstrip, several short closed tears, with original price.

Book is clean and firm throughout with exception of very small (.5 inch) water stain to upper right corner of front cover, extending through fep and title page, then-on no longer visible. Wagon train image and lettering on cover is well preserved and very presentable. Endpaper maps in excellent condition. Tightly bound 283 pp., 8.2" X 5.75.".
