Illustrated by Color frontis and 7 tipped in plates by Elsie Anna Wood and one topboard . Early edition. c.1872 First Book of Katy Trio. Green cloth backed paper boards with color paste-on. Signed by Wood, Elsie Anna (1887-1978). 4to. pp. 64. Very Good. Light binding wear, bumps and soil. Cleaned and corners repaired by our in-house binder KTB with proprietary sealant. Translated into 7 languages, the former Civil War Nurse, wrote 33 additional books and submitted 14 stories for various periodicals.
