The Scottish Journal of Science was founded in 1965 by Archibald Lamont (1907-1985), a Scottish geologist, palaeontologist, Scottish Nationalist writer, poet and politician. He was also practically the sole contributor to the Journal for nearly twenty years. The Journal contained papers on a wide range of subjects, including geology, natural history, science, politics, and history. The booklet is staple-bound in the original paper covers and is in very good condition with light shelf wear to the covers. The front cover has been inscribed and signed by the author thus: "Robert Brotherhood? Esq from Archie Lamont". The contents are secure and clean with no inscription. Signed by Author(s).
