Signed presentation from the author on the front endpaper to Nancy Bowder, a friend and correspondent of Richmal Crompton and her sister Jill Anne (they worked at Cyril Beaumont's Bookshop at 75 Charing Cross), "To Nancy and Jill Anne, with love from, Richmal Crompton." Slight stain at fore-edge of front endpaper, otherwise sound, clean, very good in very good+ dust jacket, with very slight edgewear and faint rubbing at spine foot. Signedes.
