Graywolf Press was founded in 1974, in Port Townsend, Washington, by Scott Walker. Graywolf was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1984, and then later in 1985, thanks in part to generous support from the National Endowment for the Arts and from local philanthropic organizations, they moved to Minnesota (Graywolf Press). First edition. First printing statement on the copyright page followed by a number line starting with 2. Limited edition (#22 of 40 hand numbered copies).
