(57th edition), Hardback, no dustjacket, 1/2 Leather, Rebound into new covers probably originally a soft cover edition, Part I - Pages 1 - 284, Part II - The Marylebone Club In 1919 - Pages 1 - 430, Some wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, covers a little faded, Top and bottom of spine a little worn, some light wear to surface of spine, Marbled edges, Internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear, repairs to pages 19/20 & 21/22, edges possibly trimmed when rebound, original front and back covers missing, Edges of the first and last few pages creased.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. This copy has been rebound in light brown cloth covers, retaining the original paper wrappers. The rebinding looks quite recent as the covers are remarkably clean and bright. Contents are complete, with photo plate present - very clean, tight copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1920 Wisden rebound WITH the rear wrapper only and in VERY GOOD condition. The brown binding is in very clean and unmarked condition with the title and year in gilt to the spine. The rear wrapper is present and in fine condition. The remaining contents - including the photo plate - are complete and are in clean unmarked condition. A nice copy. Condition: Good. Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound without its original covers, with gilt to spine. The rebind is in dark green boards with neat lettering to the spine. There is some oddity with this book, it starts on page iii (so all bar cover) but for some reason the binder has included some of the 1906 Wisden near the back, so the 1920 is complete in part 1 then part 2 is complete until page 162 then we have 8 pages of the 1906 (including title page) then the book goes back to the 1920 form page 193. Internally it is OK but there is a stain to the base of the book. Great 1920 photoplate. Condition=6/10.

With Original Covers bound inside, the covers are nice but have marks. A couple of stamps within as shown and also stamps on the page block. Nice photoplate within. Condition: Good. Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound. In Good+ condition. This book is interesting as the covers are bound inside but the outer sides of the covers have been covers in plain paper, page ii is inside which would usually not be there if the covers were removed. This book has a dark feel to it for the first dozen or so pages , there are some small dog ears at the front but after them it is very nice inside. Bound in grey boards with gilt to the front and the spine. Similar to a hardback style. Nice photoplate and tightly bound. being the grab any year strategy irrespective of content and condition but at the right price. This being a rebind at a great price makes it fit that perfectly. Condition: Very Good. Hi, This lot is a 1920 Wisden. It is rebound in brown boards with the covers within. It is in Good to Very Good Condition. The boards are in red , with gilt to the front and to the spine, fading to the spine gilt with mark. The covers are dark with a staining mark around the edge Some thumbing and dog ears. Lovely and clean inside with excellent photoplate. Perhaps in a damp room at one point as pages a touch warped but not off putting. Condition=7/10.

The covers and spine are new and well made, the book is internally nice with excellent photoplate. A tightly bound, presentable Wisden. Some wear ti the first few and last couple of original pages. Bound in dark red boards with gilt to the spine, the binding has a nice texture to it and feels good in the hard, it is a well put together rebind. No covers but otherwise complete including the very nice photoplate, clean pages, name to page 3 of Auty and very tightly bound, a nice book. Small waxy mark to edge of binding. Condition=8/10.

It is bound in burgundy with the year in large gilt to the front board. The spine has Wisden's Almanack and the year in gold gilt. The boards are nice and tidy and the pages inside very clean, the page block has a speckling effect. Nice photoplate within, ever so slight trimming but a decent book. Condition: Good. Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Paperback Wisden with a Facsimile Spine. In OK Condition. This book has quite dark and grubby covers with an expertly made new spine. The front cover has what looks like a tape mark to the left hand side which has been masked somewhat. The top of the page block is dark and the pages have a light aura to the top but otherwise nice and clean with an excellent photoplate. Great price. Condition=6/10.

Condition: Fine. Hi, This is a lovely rebound 1920 Wisden without covers in excellent condition. This rebind is in Red boards with Gilt to spine. Internally excellent with very clean pages and excellent photoplate, one of the nicest run of books I have seen regading the whiteness of the pages. Very nice indeed if you do not mind the missing covers. Tightly bound. Condition=9/10.

This Original paperback is in Good+ condition, the spine is a brand new facsimile that looks identical to an original spine, the book is very nice apart from the covers which are good but show some wear, internally a very nice book, tightly bound with excellent photoplate. The facsimile spine and cover are expertly made and the original rear cover is nice but worn to one side, the first and last original pages are worn too but internally it is very nice otherwise. Condition: Very Good. Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Paperback Wisden. It is in Good Condition. It is rather strange as the whole of the spine paper is missing, you see this quite a lot in the 1920s, but parts of the spine not all, it is just the spine top layer as the paper underneath is attached and keeps the book tightly bound. Wisden must have used poor glue on the spine paper in 1920! The covers are nice, a couple of small marks, internally very nice indeed, excellent photoplate and clean pages. With errata slip. No foxing to speak of. Condition=7/10.

Hi, This is a Set of Rebound Wisdens, 1920, 1922 and 1927 : Set of three Wisden Rebinds These three Wisdens are very similar and hence put together as a mini set, they are bound in light brown but the boards are heavily worn, gilt to the spine The 1920 and 1927 are complete with covers, the covers are a bit dark and the book have some wear, the 1922 has no covers and starts on page 9 (2 pages are before this but damaged) , a cheap and cheerful set of three 1920s Wisdens, in OK Condition. .Please note that the postage price on this listing will be for just 1 Wisden and not the full set, so we may have to ask for a bit more. Condition: Fine. Hi, This lot is an Original 1920 Hardback Wisden . It is in Very Good Condition. The boards are nice and clean with minimal markings, the gilts are bright and original to the front and the spine, the spine cloth has a touch of fade if being picky, the only downside to this book as internally it has strong hinge, excellent pastedowns, clean pages and superb photoplate. Ever so slight wear to the cover spin border to the front board , a very nice Wisden that for a 1920 is exceptional. 100% original. Condition=9/10.

The Binding is Excellent. This Wisdens are very nicely bound , they have leather corners and spine area, gilt to the spine and patterned to the main area of the boards, the binding itself would be about £100 per book, above the sale price here! The covers are in decent shape, just the odd one has some wear and marks. Hi, We recently listed a few runs of hardbacks, we split a few of the sets at customers requests and so relisting the rest of them individually and knocking 10 percent off the price to make them even more attractive. This lot is an 1920 Original Hardback Wisden. In Good to Very Good Condition, I find this a hard year to find. This book is very nice, it has had some restoration to the spine gilt and the hinges but it has done the book well, the front baord is very nice with shiny, original gilt, light wear, the spine cloth is clean with new gilt. Internally the hinges are restored and strong, the pastedowns are the usual darker yellow , part of the front right is a bit darker than the rest but internally a wonderful book, with clean white pages, tightly bound and an excellent photoplate. Condition=8/10.
