I present a brief history of ancient Ukraine, its recorded early history, when Kyiv had a population of 100,000 with masonry fortified walls and gold-gilded towers, at a time when Paris had 25,000 living within a wooden stockade. After these few hundred years, resource-rich Ukraine was invaded and occupied by foreigners. Signée et justifiée à la mine de plomb par l'artiste. Jean-Marie Picard est un graveur sur bois formé aux Beaux Arts de Nîmes. Au début des années 90 il collabore avec l'atelier Jacomet, c'est aux côtés de Garouste, Arroyo, Debré et Moebius qu'il réalise ses premières estampes. En 2013 il participe à la création de l'atelier DPJ à Sète spécialisé dans la gravure. L'atelier édite de nombreuses estampes avec Combas , Di rosa , Ocampo, Pencreach , Ichiba . Par la suite il crée sa propre maison d'éditions Medium Rare, il travaille alors avec Jean-Michel Alberola, Willem, Charles Burns, Paquito Bolino, Pat Andréa. Gravures.
