THe ACM SIGFIDET (now SIGMOD) workshop on Data Description, Access and Control was held in Ann Arbor, Michigan May 1-3, 1974. The complete proceedings of the workshop has been divided into two volumes. This volume is the first of the two and contains the papers given at all sessions, excluding the depabe. This is a revised and enhanced version of the prelimiary copy distributed at the meeting. The second volume, scheduled for publication in 1975, was to contain the papers and the transcript ob the debate between Charles AW. Bachman and E. F. Codd. Good. No dust jacket as issued. Highlighting/underlining. Small portion of front cover cut off. Some pencil comments noted.
