Issued 1890, Edinburgh by John Bartholomew & Co for the Edinburgh Geographical Institute. A world map projection curiosity. Scarce late 19th century color lithographed map issued for the Scottish Geographical Magazine, possibly unique to that publication. Nice looking example with pleasing age patina.Ã Original fold lines as issued. Sheet Measures c. 9 1/2" H x 15" W. Printed Area Measures c. 8 1/4" H x 13 1/2" W.
