Wilfred Hanchant (1902 - 1978) -- eccentric, editor, curator, designer, writer. Associate of Crowley, Lawrence and H E Bates who described him as a "pink bearded ex -embalmer." A rare science fiction satire, noted by George Locke 116. An aircraft flies through a curious phenomenon. Very good indeed in slightly nicked, very good dust jacket, with some edgewear. Signedes.

The poster, issued by the municipality of Bloemendaal ("Gemeente Bloemendaal", signed by mayor J.W. Zigeler), details the families from Bloemendaal and Santpoort-Station that were called to hand in their radio sets during the German occupation. This was done in alphabetical order, over a span of six days from June 22nd 1943 unti…l June 29th. The poster was issued on June 15th, 1943. Letterpress on wove paper, sheet size 699 x 499 mm. With K-number 608 (K-numbers were issued by the Kulturkammer of the German occupation during World War II, to identify printers and publishers), of printer Timmer in Bloemendaal. In good condition, some creasing in the top and bottom edges of the sheet, a thin band of foxing in the lower half of the sheet. Paper loss in the lower left corner, a nick in the top left corner. The German occupier forced the Dutch to hand in their radiosets in order to prevent them from listemning to the BBC and more specifically "Radio Oranje". Jan Willem Zigeler was a pro german mayor of Bloemendaal. Second World War/Tweede Wereldoorlog. In beslagname radiotoestellen.
