SEHR gutes Exemplar. - « Zu den Arbeiten in dieser Mappe:Ich beginne meist mit der Kohlezeichnung. Mit ihr umreisse ich die Gestalt, wobei mir die Linie als solche viel erfüllt und bedeutet. Sie verbindet, trennt, umfasst,… ragt rein oder raus, liegt an, bei oder über, und mit ihr ergeben sich die Formen und die Volumen. Dann folgt der Holzschnitt, die gezeichnete Linie wird Weisslinie, oder Kante von Flächen oder eine Farblinie. Die geschnittenen Formen drucke ich Rotbraun und Schwarz, dazu gesellt sich das Weiss des Papiers. Mit diesen drei Farben, den Grössenverhältnissen, dem Oben-Unten, Links-Rechts und den Überschneidungen schaffe meine Akte. Beim Akt ist es der Körper, seine Massen und seine Gliederung im Raum was mich beschäftigt. Auch spielt das Verhältnis zur Person, die ich portraitiere oder aktzeichne und die Stimmung im Raum eine Rolle, aber ich denke gerne an die abstrakten bildnerischen Mittel, arbeite in Zyklen, in welchen ich die für mich wichtigen Eigenarten des Holzschnittes so lange behandle, bis sich mir ihr Spielraum erklärt.» ( wissmann) (Wir haben zahlreiche Titel in diesem Sachgebiet auf unserer HP.)
